The real deal, with all of the road-focussed ability of a modern adventure bike, plus genuine off-road scrambling capability, for the ultimate ride, whatever the surface. There are two benchmark setting Scrambler 1200’s to choose from. The Scrambler 1200 XC is built for sublime road and off-road riding fun, and the range-topping Scrambler 1200 XE, which delivers the highest level of specification, to take its off-road capability and scrambling credentials to the very top of the motorcycling world. However you define adventure, and wherever the road takes you, the Scrambler 1200 offers unparalleled capability, both on and off-road.

The famously characterful and torque-rich Bonneville parallel twin provides the heart of this benchmark modern classic adventure bike. With its smooth and linear power delivery, the 1200cc, low-inertia engine accelerates quickly and delivers from low down and all the way through the rev-range. Now Euro 5 compliant, with enhanced emissions and improved heat distribution.

The Scrambler 1200 is equipped with 45mm diameter Showa USD front forks and twin piggyback Öhlins rear shock absorbers. Fully adjustable for preload, compression and rebound damping, and with 200mm of travel at both ends each of these high-quality suspension units has been developed specifically for the Scrambler.

Featuring a raft of modern technology, each designed to enhance the riding experience without compromising the modern classic style of this rugged crossover machine.

The DRL headlight and all-LED lighting guarantee superb visibility to other road users whilst illuminating the darkest rides. Backlit switchcubes, intuitive switches and a five-way joystick mean all the essential signals are at your fingertips, whilst also making it easy to operate the single-button cruise control or flick between settings.

Advanced ABS and Traction Control systems enhance rider safety and rider convenience hasn’t been overlooked, either, with an easily accessible USB point for charging those travel essentials and the option to fit the My Triumph connectivity module, which allows you to enjoy the world’s first integrated GoPro control system as well as features such as turn-by-turn navigation, plus phone and music operation.

In addition to the high-quality Showa and Öhlins suspension, twin piston Brembo M50 radial monobloc brake calipers are fitted as standard. Twin 320mm discs, combined with the advanced ABS system, means there’s no shortage of stopping power with superb lever feel for assured, confident control in all conditions.

Beautifully engineered aluminium rims are side-laced to strong hubs to maintain the Scrambler’s modern classic style yet allow the fitment of the latest Metzeler Tourance tubeless tyres which deliver the perfect balance for both on and off-road use.
