Hello again from the Webbs Teams in Lincoln and Peterborough. Just an update on the message we sent out recently when we said that we would be reopening on 15th June as advised at last Sunday’s Coronavirus briefing.
We have had the staff in since the Bank Holiday sorting out things so that we can get the store operating properly again. Since Tuesday 26th May, we have been informed that Motorcycle Showrooms can re-open from 1st of June.
PLEASE NOTE: WE WILL NOT BE OPEN AS NORMAL FROM 1ST JUNE
This week, we put a message out letting customers know that we were taking calls for service bookings and other workshop appointments and for sales consultations.
We are operational, with those restrictions, from Monday 1st of June BUT ONLY BY APPOINTMENT.
Our business is working, as most other motorcycle business, for a very safety conscious re-start. We want to avoid any spread of the Coronavirus and have undertaken a risk assessment to minimise the risk of infection. There will be signage with safety instructions displayed in the store which we would request that everyone complies with whilst the restrictions are in place.
For the first weeks of June we are fully booked in the workshop but please call to book. We will do our best to get you into the diary as soon as we can.
Sales appointments, at present need to be made by telephone or email. Ensure that your appointment is confirmed before you travel to the store. We will be restricting access to people with appointments for service, recalls and sales consultations. We recommend ordering spares on the phone, paying by card and calling the spares department when you arrive at the store to collect.
We will update you with news on when and how the doors will be opening as normal for browsing but at present we are opening Monday to Friday (NOT WEEKENDS) until we advise you of a change. Appointments being the method of doing business before then.
It’s a step forward and thanks for all the goodwill messages. It’s good to be back!
